While attractive custom trade show displays can be made for many types of companies, some industries are especially well-suited to memorable, eye-catching pieces in a convention center. Certainly the candy and snack industry, with its brightly-colored products and overtones of nostalgic fun, could set an example.
According to a piece from the Trade Show News Network, that's more or less what happened at a recent trade show for the Sweets and Snacks Expo. Held in Chicago at McCormick Place, this event is described as a chance to see a mingling of old and new, both the familiar brand names like Hershey's and new offerings from companies with interests in trendy fields like gluten-free snack foods.
This article also quotes Theresa Anthony, the National Confectioners Association (NCA) Expo's senior director, who described some of the goals of the event.
"The Sweets and Snacks Expo has a main goal of giving attendees a memorable experience in an industry that is in constant change and growth," she said. "And we encourage all in the industry to become a member of the NCA so that they can learn, grow and give back."
A list of all of the exhibitors who appeared at the event shows how it works as a cross section of companies that specialize in popcorn, pickles, cookies, chips and other popular food items. There were also keynote presentations that both had to do with general business leadership strategies and the health factor affecting the snacking industry.
With such a range of different foods on display, all companies need to make sure they choose the display for trade shows that will be in the best interest of their business and make a great impression.
